A number of readers have responded with requests after seeing and reading about the 2011 International Achievement Award of Excellence winner, “Geotextile-reinforced soil retaining wall for Hetaoyu Mine coal processing plant” in the February/March issue of Geosynthetics. Most of the inquiries came from engineers asking for diagrams or cross sections of this distinctive structure built on the Loess Plateau in central China.
