Deadline is May 31
The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is calling for submissions for Environmental Connection 2013, its annual conference and expo. The 2013 conference is in San Diego, Feb. 10–13.
IECA receives submissions from around the world from instructors hoping to present at this annual event. For its 2013 conference, there are four education tracks:
- erosion/sediment control
- stormwater management
- MS4 management
- surface water restoration
In an April 11 press release, the association noted several hot topics for EC-’13, including: LID (low-impact development), post-construction sustainability, the new federal construction general permit (CGP)—requirements and revisions; effluent limitation guidelines—impacts and opportunities; stormwater management, turbidity control, and stream and shoreline stabilization.
The deadline to submit an abstract is May 31, 2012.
IECA’s Environmental Connection 2013 is Feb.10–13 at the Town & Country Resort in San Diego, Calif., USA.
