Specifier’s Guide wins award

The 2011 Specifier’s Guide from Geosynthetics magazine received a silver (second place) award at the 15th Annual Excellence Awards presented by the Minnesota Magazine and Publishing Association on Nov. 3. The 2011 edition of the annual “Spec Guide” was named runnerup in the Best Directory category.

Specialty Fabrics Review was one of three Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) publications to take home honors at the event, winning two gold awards (first place), three silver awards (second place), and one bronze award (third place). Fabric Architecture magazine also won a silver award for Best Single-Topic Issue/Special Section.

The publishing arm of IFAI, based in the Twin Cities suburb of Roseville, Minn., produces seven print and online industry-niche magazines.
