New officers named for geosynthetics organizations

NAGS, FGI, IAGI make announcements at Geo-Frontiers

North American Geosynthetics Society (NAGS)

The following were announced as the new Board of Directors for NAGS: President–Dean Sandri; President-elect–Bob Mackey; Treasurer–Corey Bobba; Vice Presidents–Marolo Alfaro, Jay McKelvey, Dhani Narejo, Richard Brachman; Immediate Past President–David Elton.

Fabricated Geomembrane Institute

At FGI’s annual meeting during Geo-Frontiers, new officers were announced for 2011-2013: President–Andrew Mills, Vice President–Ray Peebles, Treasurer–Kent Metzger, Secretary–Jeremiah Boorsma.

2011-2013 FGI Board of Directors: John Goers, John Heap, Gary Kolbasuk, Stuart Lange, Dave McLaury, Jared Santoro, Stan Slifer.

International Association of Geosynthetic Installers (IAGI)

A new officer has joined the Board of Directors for the International Association of Geosynthetic Installers. Chris Eichelberger, American Environmental Group, will serve as an at-large member of the IAGI board. He was elected to a two-year term.
