Inland Tarp & Liner LLC (ITL) announced in a Feb. 15 press release that it is expanding production and distribution to a new 192,000-square-foot facility in Fostoria, Ohio. The move will enable Inland to better serve more of its Eastern U.S. customers, including one-day transit time, the release said.
The Fostoria location, about 40 miles south of Toledo, is designed with indoor loading docks for both truck and rail transport, allowing all-weather loading and unloading of raw and finished products. Inland’s release said that the company plans to hire around 30 new employees as the workload increases at the facility.
Ron MacKenzie (formerly with Bend Tarp and Liner) has joined the company as eastern operations manager to coordinate this expansion. In addition, Brad Clouter (a 16-year ITL veteran) has relocated to Fostoria to assist at the new location.
“We view this expansion as a necessary step in meeting the growing delivery and production demand of our customer base,” said ITL president Glen Knopp. “[It] should provide a significant opportunity for new customers looking for a reliable supplier of high quality tarps and liners.”
ITL is headquartered in Moses Lake, Wash., and the company distributes products worldwide from several other domestic and international locations.
