See the new Greenpoint Stadium

Editor’s Note: South African reader, Peter Davies, caught us using an old photo for the article “Geogrids remedy site soils at World Cup stadium in South Africa.”

To the editor:

The story is great, but the picture shown of the Green Point Stadium is, in fact, the old one that was demolished to make way for the giant new 2010 World Cup edifice where geogrid was used. Please see a pic (in the box above) of what it actually looks like today (at night), and another (aerial) of when it was under construction.
