Thrace-LINQ has promoted Daniel Selander to the new position of market development manager/geosynthetics.

“This newly created position fits perfectly with our geographic expansion plans,” said Davis Taylor, the company’s vice president of operations, in a mid-May press release. “Thrace-LINQ is experiencing rapid growth in the sales of woven and nonwoven geotextiles across the Americas and is looking to strengthen our distributor relationships through a more expansive offering of geosynthetics.”

The release described Selander as an industry veteran with more than 16 years of technical sales experience.

Thrace-LINQ recently started production on a new needlepunched nonwovens line, with capacity in excess of 7,000 tons/year. According to the release, Selander will identify customer needs, market trends, and new product opportunities.

Thrace-LINQ is a supplier of woven and nonwoven polypropylene-based technical fabrics with its U.S. manufacturing and distribution center in Summerville, S.C.
