IDOT to spend $110 million on Interstate infrastructure

The Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced $110 million in Interstate infrastructure spending around the city of Council Bluffs in 2017, part of the largest highway funding effort in history by IDOT.

The projects include new onramps, highway bridge construction, paving, railroad bridge reconstruction, and sewer work. IDOT is also in the planning stages of redoing the I-29/I-480 interchange at West Broadway.
