Purcellville, Va.-based GeoStructures and Buffalo, N.Y.-based Titan USA have issued press releases announcing new staff additions this week.

Kurt Levins, P.E., has joined the GeoStructures staff as a northeast sales engineer. The release said that Levins will be responsible for business development and sales in the company’s northeast region, working with customers to develop design‐build solutions through the use of ground improvement technologies on residential, commercial, and transportation infrastructure projects.

The press release noted that, prior to joining GeoStructures, Levins began his career as a

He then worked for a foundation steel supplier where he supported design, construction, and supply of storm protection, bulkhead, and deep foundation projects in North America and the Caribbean.

Steve Weiterman is joining the staff at Titan Environmental USA LLC (Titan USA) as project manager/specialty applications. He is responsible for the operation and development of Titan’s specialty applications business, with a focus on seamless barrier systems, plum containment, and specialized soil ventilation systems for gas vapor and brownfield remediation projects in the U.S.
The press release said that Weiterman has held a variety of operating roles with an environmental contractor in both the U.S. and Canada. He brings experience in the geosynthetics industry, including more than 16 years working with both general containment geomembrane systems and specialty spray-applied membranes and coatings.
