Technical textiles exhibition and conference promotes export opportunities in Asia Pacific
The U.S. Department of Commerce has granted Trade Fair Certification to IFAI Expo Asia 2012, which will take place June 26–28, 2012 at the Suntec Singapore International Exhibition Centre, according to a press release from the Industrial Fabrics Association International.
“We are really honored to receive this prestigious Trade Fair Certification,” said IFAI president and CEO Stephen Warner. “Asia Pacific is the hottest growth market for technical textiles, and the U.S. Department of Commerce recognizes the importance of IFAI Expo Asia 2012 in creating export opportunities.”
Last year, the first Expo Asia event in Singapore featured two geosynthetics technical symposiums, presented by TRI’s Sam Allen. The 2012 conference is also offering two geosynthetics sessions—“Geosynthetics for Waste and Water Containment” and “Geosynthetic Materials for Roads and Bridges.”
Well-known engineering professor and speaker, Malek Bouazza from Monash University in Australia, will be the presenter for both 2012 sessions.
IFAI Expo Asia 2012 technical symposiums announced
The IFAI press release also announced the full slate of topics for its symposium series in Singapore. Conference delegates will learn about the latest technologies, market trends, engineering trends, geosynthetic uses, product designs, and fabrication strategies for improving sales, market share and business profitability.
