Strata, Allan Block in new marketing agreement

In a move described as “making proper landscape retaining wall construction even easier and more accessible,” Allan Block Co. of Minneapolis and Strata Systems of Atlanta have reached “a cooperative marketing agreement,” according to an Oct. 25 press release.

The new plan calls for marketing and promotion of Strata’s geogrid reinforcement as part of Allan Block’s small grid program. The agreement will facilitate distribution of Strata’s products through Allan Block’s global network of licensed concrete producers, the release stated.

“At Allan Block, we believe in supporting our products as they move into the market, through a variety of specialized programs,” said Chad Julius, senior engineer with Allan Block. “By partnering with Strata Systems and through our ever-expanding producer network we are able to provide another quality program to ensure proper retaining wall construction.”

“We are excited about this new opportunity to provide Allan Block’s small grid program,” said David Butchart, Strata’s vice president of sales and marketing. “This program allows Strata to provide a one-stop shop for a full range of products for segmental walls to Allan Block producers.”
