Tenax TT Series Uniaxial Geogrids are for reinforcing soil retaining walls, slopes, landslide repair applications, embankment stabilization, temporary walls and veneer stability in landfill applications. The Tenax TT Series Uniaxial Geogrids are being produced in the company’s Maryland plant using select grades of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins that resist elongation (creep) when subjected to high loads for long periods of time, as required in slopes and walls. This unique process of extrusion to punched and drawn to mono-orientation enhances tensile properties. This new production capability allows Tenax to produce the only HDPE geogrid in a width of 6.5 feet; the additional width speeds construction and reduces overall waste.
