Solmax’s anchored LiteEarth capping system enables capping of basins where erosion and soil instability make it difficult to install and operate traditional capping systems. While traditional systems require significant design considerations and maintenance to avoid erosion of the cover, the LiteEarth capping system is a monolithic geosynthetic system with no granular ballast to maintain. LiteEarth is made of a 40-mil (1-mm) linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) series geomembrane laminated to synthetic turf and is installed using permanent engineered earth anchors.
