HydraNet is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly solution for lateral fluid and gas transmission. It occupies less space than traditional sand, stone or gravel layers while improving hydraulic performance, increasing clogging resistance and reducing installation time and costs. Suitable for applications such as landfill liners, road and railway construction, slope stabilization and drainage systems, HydraNet is used in double-lined containment for leak detection. HydraNet geocomposites have a geotextile bonded to one or both sides of a geonet. The addition of laminated geotextile layers prevents the movement of soil fines into the drainage path, which could otherwise lead to clogging and reduced drainage performance in the long term. Layfield produces both biplanar and triplanar geonets, all manufactured in North America at an ISO 9001-certified facility.
