Layfield’s Geovolt was specifically developed to address several challenges associated with quality assurance testing of containment facilities. Geovolt provides electrical leak location and detection for ponds, landfills, tank liners and any primary and secondary containment facility. Geovolt also works very well as a substrate for spray-applied polyurea applications, converting a standard polyurea liner into a conductive polyurea liner. Geovolt provides maximum quality assurance, meeting the requirements of ASTM D7852, Standard Practice for Use of an Electrically Conductive Geotextile for Leak Location Surveys. It can be used with almost any type of non-conducting geomembrane, so you will no longer be limited to polyethylene-based geomembranes. There is no need for special welding techniques during the installation process, allowing for a fast and easy installation. It can be sewn, heat-tacked or simply overlapped.
