The Biobarrier root and weed control system stops root growth through the slow, controlled release of a nonsystemic herbicide that has been used in food crop production for more than 40 years. It is effective in applications such as protecting surface infrastructure (sidewalks, roads), building foundations and underground infrastructure (pipes, septic systems) from aggressive tree root damage. Biobarrier creates a continuous chemical and physical barrier against roots without impeding the flow of water, air and nutrients.
