IFAI Expo 2018 to colocate with CAMX

News | October 30, 2017 | By:

The Industrial Fabrics Association International’s IFAI Expo 2018 will take place in Dallas, Texas, October 15–18 and will be colocated with the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX).

“The goal of this colocation is to expand the relationship between the technical textiles and composites industries for our attendees and exhibitors. We want to capitalize on the current synergy between these industries and promote future collaboration,” said Andrew Aho, IFAI vice president of new business development.

IFAI Expo, which began in 1918, is the premier industrial fabrics expo for new and innovative products, as well as education and networking with experts and influential industry leaders. CAMX is North America’s go-to composites event for products, solutions, networking and advanced industry thinking. The colocation of events unites the strengths of both groups, combines all aspects of these world-class industry expos and allows for machining products to be highlighted to the attendees of both expos.

CAMX, coproduced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), has seen substantial growth since its launch in 2014.

“We are pleased to be able to offer the CAMX attendees access to a new set of exhibitors that are of interest to them, without having to attend a separate event,” said Heather Rhoderick, CAMX show director.

In 2018, with the colocation, attendees and exhibitors will benefit from expanded networking and sharing of ideas among the impressive national and international audiences that IFAI and CAMX attract, plus innovations and new products related to both events showcased. While the exhibit halls of both events will be combined, the conference programming and registration of the two events remain separate.
