Layfield’s Fraser joins GSI board of advisors, bringing his 40+ years’ experience in the geosynthetics industry to GSI.

The Layfield Group Ltd. announced that Brian Fraser, vice president of business development for Layfield Geosynthetics, has been appointed to the Geosynthetic Institute (GSI) board of advisors as the barrier group representative.

About Fraser

Fraser has 40+ years of experience in the geosynthetics industry, having developed an extensive portfolio working with geomembranes, floating covers and geosynthetics in various applications across North America and internationally. Fraser also serves as a board of advisor member for the Fabricated Geomembrane Institute. Layfield is an active member of GSI.

About GSI

GSI is an international consortium of organizations interested in, and involved with, geosynthetics. All types of polymeric geosynthetic materials are involved. The organization’s members include federal and state governmental agencies, facilities owners, designers, consultants, quality control/quality assurance organizations, testing laboratories, resin and additive suppliers, manufacturers, manufacturer’s representatives and installation contractors.
