FC Géosynthétiques, a leader in the installation of geosynthetic products, announced the acquisition of Innovex Produits Techniques Inc., a company specializing in the distribution of geosynthetic materials, and Hydrosol Construction Inc. This acquisition will allow FC Géosynthétiques to strengthen its positioning and leadership in the geosynthetic product installation market while enhancing its offerings.
“We are very pleased to welcome Innovex Technical Products and Hydrosol Construction within the large family of FC Géosynthétiques,” says Francis Côté, vice president at FC Géosynthétiques. “Our two companies, well established in Lévis and Boucherville [Que.], were built on shared values of innovation, service and product excellence. This alliance will allow us to increase our market share in the industry and jointly develop a consolidated offer in order to meet the growing demand of our customers.”
This acquisition will also allow FC Géosynthétiques to facilitate the distribution of its products and support its growth with clients in the private and public sectors, in Quebec, Canada, and internationally. With this alliance, the clients of the two companies, who will continue their activities under their respective names, will be able to benefit from the complementarity of their services and their expertise.
In the transaction, FC Géosynthétiques also acquires the assets of Hydrosol Construction Inc., Innovex’s specialist contractor dedicated to the installation of geosynthetic products, which allows it to consolidate its workers in the field, and to diversify its installation expertise and products. FC Géosynthétiques will rely on a team of nearly 100 employees, more than half of whom will be dedicated to installing geosynthetics throughout Quebec.
