Summerville, S.C.-based Thrace-Linq is using the timing and proximity
of the annual PGA Championship to host its own hospitality
event this week.

According to an Aug. 6 press release, the company invited to South Carolina some of its best “players”—not pro golfers
but pros from the geosynthetics/industrial fabrics industry. The Thrace-Linq players arrived by limousine directly to the main gate of
The Ocean Course, site of the 2012 PGA
Championship, and they enjoyed preferred seating a few steps away at the Hole 17 Champions Club hospitality area. Thrace’s
players also enjoyed Charleston’s waterways during a three-hour sunset dinner cruise.

The release noted that the 2012 PGA Championship, considered one of the four “majors” in professional golf, is the first major in
South Carolina. The 156-player roster includes the top 108 players on the current Official World Golf Rankings. The field features
32 major champions, 71 international players representing 21 countries, and all three of this year’s major winners.

Thrace-Linq Inc. is a supplier of woven and nonwoven polypropylene-based technical fabrics for a variety of textile applications in
the Americas. The company’s corporate office and U.S. manufacturing and distribution center are in Summerville, about 40 miles
from Kiawah Island, S.C.
