You are reading the show issue of Geosynthetics magazine. Whether you have just received this at home in print or are browsing through the issue online, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Geosynthetics Virtual Conference 2021.
A wide variety of ways to learn and connect
While you are attending the Geosynthetics Virtual Conference 2021, be sure to take advantage of all the opportunities to learn and connect:
Half-day short courses: This is a great opportunity to dig deep into six different topics.
Plenary presentations: Featuring Mount Everest avalanche survivor Jim Davidson and the Koerner Award Lecture presented by Jie Han, Ph.D.
Special sessions: Many of these sessions are organized by our Supporting Organization partners, and all are streaming live.
Panel discussions: Join the conversation on several lively topics.
Technical sessions: The technical paper sessions are on-demand this year. You will be able to watch as many as you like and do not have to worry about having to choose between topics.
Exhibit hall: Stop by the virtual booths and peruse product information provided by the exhibitors, video chat with the exhibit staff, and drop your virtual business card for some great prizes.
Virtual lounges: This is your chance to drop in and have a great face-to-face conversation with other attendees and exhibitors in a small group setting.
This is a great time to stop by the website and make final plans for what sessions you are going to attend live, which you are going to watch on-demand as your schedule allows and which exhibitors you are going to visit.
