This special edition of the Geosynthetics Conference will feature in-depth case studies spanning the geotechnical industry. Each 30-minute case study presentation will explore a geotechnical project from design to installation. Presenters will highlight the challenges encountered, how they were overcome and the current status of the completed project.
All case studies will include a geosynthetic component and an emphasis has been placed on unique and challenging projects during submission review and presenter selection.

While you are on the show floor, be sure to stop by the Geosynthetics Learning Zone to review the education boards detailing the many different uses for geosynthetic materials across a variety of applications.
Half-day short courses included
Come in early on Sunday to dive into a four-hour short course at no extra cost. All full and one-day registrants are invited to take advantage of this special opportunity. Short course selections will be announced in September.

The Charleston Area Convention Center is conveniently located five minutes from Charleston International Airport. For attendees with limited time, this destination is ideal.
For attendees who have time to spend exploring the area, options abound. Downtown Charleston is just a quick complimentary shuttle ride away. From colonial-era houses, Revolutionary and Civil War monuments, and even a submarine from 1864, history is everywhere. If history isn’t your thing, there are also numerous parks and gardens, carriage rides and the chance to spend some time in the sun on the seashore. It’s a great location to bring the family and stay a few extra days.
