The International Erosion Control Association will be hosting a webinar at 2 p.m. CST January 22.

Construction work within waterways can be challenging to keep in compliance with multiple permits and regulations due to overlapping boundaries, confined work spaces and complex treatment systems. By understanding the different permit types and how they apply, compliance on these projects is achievable.

This presentation will review the types of permits required and how they relate to each other in the field. It will also cover the documentation required for each permit and how those plans are implemented to support compliance through final stabilization. Examples of waterway projects, both effective and in need of corrective action, will be included.

The one-hour webinar will be presented by Al Stafford, Clean Water Compliance Unit Manager, Colorado Water Quality Control Division.

Cost is $15 or free for members; $40 for nonmembers. Register and find more information here.
