The Flexible Geomembrane Institute will be hosting a free webinar at 1 p.m. EDT October 23.
Exposed and covered geomembrane liner systems are subjected to wind uplift, hydrostatic uplift, gas generation and erosive/external forces that need to be assessed for long term resistance to site and environmental conditions but that are not often addressed during the design and construction phase. This webinar will provide design and installation methods for various ballasting and protection options that will help ensure long term performance of the geomembrane liner system installation.
The webinar will be presented by Ron Frobel, registered professional engineer and owner/principal of R. K. Frobel & Associates Consulting Engineers, and Patrick Elliott, Director of Installation Services at Colorado Lining International (CLI), a Viaflex Company. The webinar is eligible for 1.0 PDH.
