In a pioneering step towards more environmentally friendly construction projects, INCOTELOGY GmbH recently presented a new generation of ecologically sustainable geoproducts at the Infratech 2025 trade fair in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. These innovative materials focus not only on outstanding performance, but also on environmental compatibility and sustainability.
INCOTELOGY’s sustainable geo and construction products are characterized by a reduction in environmental impact by using recycled materials and implementing environmentally friendly production processes. These measures help to significantly reduce the ecological footprint of construction projects. The benefits of these geoproducts extend beyond their ecological compatibility. They offer outstanding stability, durability and versatile applications to meet the requirements of modern construction projects.
Its “green” asphalt grid made of basalt fiber or polyester with or without laying aid is used as an asphalt insert for reinforcement in road construction. This grid offers an economical solution with many advantages in asphalt construction for both maintenance measures and new construction.
In addition to the company’s best-selling flexible IVG-certified geogrid made of high-modulus polyester yarns or PVA yarns and combi grids (geocomposite made of synthetic PET geogrid with special impregnation and PP nonwoven fabric attached to the grid), which combine the functions of reinforcement, separation and filtering, the company offers these made of ecologically sustainable and easily recyclable basalt fiber.
The company’s IVG-certified heavy-duty fabric, which is made from high-modulus polyester yarns (PET yarns), alkali-resistant polyvinyl alcohol yarns (PVA yarns) or basalt yarns, has a high tensile strength of up to 2400 kN/m with very little stretch. Since 2024, INCOTELOGY has been offering the innovative solution system “Geosynthetic-encased columns” (also GEC = Geotextile Encased Columns) for the foundation of earthworks on low-load-bearing subsoil on the European market.
For projects in landscaping and road construction, the company offers the polyester geogrid and geosynthetic composite with PP fleece in short rolls and various widths (1 and 2 m) for convenient handling and processing. As standard, it supplies the rolls 5-5.4m x 100m.
