AGRU wins 2024 Marketing Excellence Award

News | December 20, 2024 | By:

The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) has awarded AGRU America the top Marketing Excellence Award for demonstrating outstanding success and creativity with their marketing initiatives.

The rigorous submission process looks at over two dozen factors, from social media campaigns to publication history and contributions to the industry. Other contributing factors toward the award were consistent engagement on IAPD social channels and the recent launch of the Infrastructure for a Sustainable Future campaign, which leveraged social media and video tools.

“Showcasing AGRU products has been an enriching experience,” said Yuse Lajiminmuhip, marketing business unit manager at AGRU America, Inc. “Behind every project we support, there are dozens if not hundreds of stories. I’ve been fortunate to capture some of those stories to show a growing audience the role of AGRU engineering plastics in society.”

Included in the award-winning submission were three new case studies.

“In addition to traditional marketing,” said Yuse, “we have continued to expand and grow our outreach efforts. From our local communities to important industry associations, we have emphasized direct hands-on involvement. We have been thrilled by the reception to our efforts, which have been a success thanks to the direct engagement of the entire management team at AGRU America.”

In 2024, AGRU America supported the P2PSC event, Wings for Life World Run, Georgetown and Charleston Bridge-to-Bridge Run, sponsored numerous school visits, and attended over 80 conferences and events.

“AGRU goes beyond manufacturing,” said Robert L. Johnson, president and CEO at AGRU America, Inc. “We view ourselves as partners capable of providing project support thanks to our solution-based approach to product development and rich project experience. We are proud of our marketing team’s ongoing efforts to present AGRU America in its best light to a growing pool of owners, engineers, project managers, and installers.”
