Stormwater management is broadly broken down into two categories: flood protection and pollution control. Flood protection pertains to controlling stormwater volume whereas pollution control focusses on controlling contaminated water. Many states are adopting “Green Infrastructure” regulations where stormwater runoff is infiltrated or treated by vegetation or soil. This webinar will focus on stormwater regulations and technologies for managing stormwater.
The presenter, Terry Sheridan, P.E., spent four years as a regional manager for a corrugated steel pipe company and 17 years managing the environmental market for a geosynthetic company before founding GeoStorage Corp in 2007. He received his BSCE from Villanova in 1983.
