The next Community of Knowledge (COK) Webinar will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 2 p.m. ET. All public agency staff such as state DOTs, cities, and federal agencies (including consultants and academics working directly with a public agency) are invited to participate and you can register here.
During the webinar, participants will explore how transportation agencies select appropriate materials for requesting Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions for an open discussion with the Sustainable Pavements Program team and subject matter experts.
Participants will hear from Hailey Goodale on Colorado Department of Transportation’s efforts for selecting eligible bid line items to request EPDs. This presentation aims to provide stakeholders, including potential recipients of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Low-Carbon Transportation Materials (LCTM) Grants Program, with an example of how to select specific materials within the eligible material categories, as well as the size of projects and material quantities to collect and use EPDs.
