Concrete Canvas Ltd. (CC) and TechFab India have signed an exclusive partnership contract for the sales, marketing and distribution rights of CC’s patented product range of geosynthetic cementitious composite mats (GCCMs) across all market sectors of India. The agreement brings together two companies that have demonstrated strong growth over the last 15+ years.
“We are delighted to be working with TechFab India, a true leader in the Indian geosynthetics market,” said Concrete Canvas director William Crawford. “We are particularly excited to be entering into this partnership as we launch a new product range, CCX™, developed specifically for canal lining into one of the world’s largest agricultural markets. This agreement marks the start of a great partnership for our businesses and a strong strategic alliance for the Indian market.”
Concrete Cancas Ltd was founded in 2005 by directors Crawford and Peter Brewin to commercialize its Concrete Canvas® (CC) material technology. Concrete Canvas is recognized as the first in a new class of geosynthetic products and is used across a wide range of markets for erosion control, weed suppression and containment applications. It is sold into more than 80 countries globally.
TechFab India was founded in 2003 by managing director Anant Kanoi and has grown into a business that manufactures and supplies a broad range of geosynthetic products across India and multiple export markets. TechFab India is known for providing world-class geosynthetic products with a focus on quality and customer service.
“We are thrilled to be working with Concrete Canvas Ltd, the inventors of GCCM technology and a company which continues to innovate and invest heavily in research and development,” Kanoi added. “This agreement is a natural partnership between TechFab India, with its national coverage of the Indian market, and CC’s innovative geosynthetic technology. We look forward to growing our businesses together over the long-term.”
Both companies have a strong Welsh connection, with Concrete Canvas’ headquarters, R&D and manufacturing facilities based in Pontyclun, South Wales. Kanoi also received a master of business administration (MBA) at the University of Wales, Cardiff.
