A COMANCO crew led by Superintendent Alejandro Loza has completed a Crystal Lagoon geosynthetics installation in Bradenton, Fla.

The COMANCO lagoon liner consisted of smooth and textured 80-mil (2-mm) linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) white geomembrane.

Overall, 170,000 square feet (15794 m2) of the liner were installed on this project.

More than 2,000 linear feet (610 m) of Polylock embed was set and poured with the lagoon’s surrounding concrete. Crews then used extrusion welding to seamlessly tie the liner system together.

COMANCO has lined several Crystal Lagoons, and these lagoons are amenity highlights to new home developments and require extreme attention to detail.
