Concrete Canvas Ltd. is launching a major expansion into the U.S. market. Beginning March 25, a newly incorporated Concrete Canvas USA will take primary responsibility for the sale and master distribution of Concrete Canvas products across the United States. As one of the largest geosynthetic markets in the world, the United States is viewed as being integral to the continued growth of sales for Concrete Canvas’s erosion control and containment products.
Concrete Canvas will be opening a new office in Houston, Texas, to support customers through a combination of direct and distribution sales through regional partners. The company will continue to work with its established sales partners in the U.S., and Concrete Canvas is looking for new distributors to better service untapped markets and territories.
The Texas office will be led by U.S. General Manager Enrique Saavedra.
As part of the expansion into the United States, Concrete Canvas announced that it is becoming a member of the Geosynthetic Institute (GSI) to support GSI’s programs of research into and education about geosynthetics.
As of March 25, all Concrete Canvas products supplied to the U.S. will revert from the former “Concrete Cloth” brand name to “Concrete Canvas,” to align with the company’s current global markets.
