ASCE Geo-Congress 2022 issues call for abstracts and special session proposals

The Geo-Congress Program Committee is inviting abstracts and special sessions proposals for the technical program of the ASCE Geo-Institute’s Geo-Congress 2022: State of the Art and Practice in Geotechnical Engineering, in Charlotte, N.C., March 20–23, 2022.

Submit an abstract by Feb. 12, 2021, for any of the topics posted on the conference website: https://www.geocongress.org/program/call-submissions.

In addition to abstracts, the 2022 GeoCongress Organizing Committee is seeking proposals for special sessions (e.g., panels, debates, mega-projects, etc.) and recommendations for state-of-the-art/state-of-the-practice (SOA/SOP) topics and speakers. Please send proposals and recommendations to geoconferences@asce.org.

The session proposals should explain the idea and provide a listing of the anticipated participants.  The SOA/SOP recommendations should present the specific topic, explain why it is of interest to the attendees, and provide suggested speaker(s) that could present the topic. All submissions should be less than two pages long.
