The Welcome Plenary of the Geosynthetics Conference 2020: CASE STUDIES, March 8–10, 2020, features three local case studies, each detailing a project in Charleston, S.C. Speakers represent the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SC-DOT), S&ME Inc. and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Attendees will learn how the unique challenges of design and installation in Charleston’s wetlands and soft soil conditions were overcome across three distinct projects:
