FGI to host webinar on temporary landfill covers

The Fabricated Geomembrane Institute (FGI) will sponsor a free webinar, “Temporary Landfill Covers: Design and Construction,” on Sept. 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m. CDT.

This webinar will focus primarily on prefabricated landfill covers and associated ballast systems. More specifically, it will provide a brief introduction into the geomembrane fabrication and installation processes, typical applications where these covers are used, how they perform, as well as considerations for material selection, project designs and construction techniques. Lastly, the presentation will review specific case studies throughout the United States to highlight these cover systems and designs.

The webinar’s instructor, Elliot Pugh, is sales manager for Wind Defender LLC.
