Shale gas drilling wastewater
Do you know what kind of radioactive isotopes are found in shale gas flowback ponds?

(Ed | Texas)

Hi Ed,
Bromine, radium, and radon are commonly brought to the surface with hydraulic fracturing. These natural radioactive elements are present in low concentrations in the earth’s crust and are brought to the surface through activities such as oil and gas exploration.
