The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is currently calling for nominations for its Board of Directors, according to a July 27 press release.
New terms for this Board begin in February 2012. The IECA Board of Directors includes nine members, each serving a three-year term. The election for the three available positions is this fall, the release said.
The association is asking for assistance in identifying IECA members whose industry and volunteer experience, as well as leadership skills, would serve to enhance the IECA Board. The release said that candidates may be nominated by a colleague or be self-nominated. Winners are selected by the IECA membership.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Aug. 12, 2011.
