Erosion Control Technology Council – Who We Are & What We Do

Sponsored Content

ECTC is a leading industry organization home to top manufacturers of erosion and sediment control products, component suppliers, material distributors, and test laboratories. ECTC members are dedicated to advancing the knowledge, experience, and expertise of erosion and sediment control.

The non-profit organization’s mission is to develop performance standards, uniform testing procedures, and guidance on the application and installation of hydraulic erosion control products (HECPs), rolled erosion control products (RECPs), and sediment retention fiber rolls (SRFRs).

ECTC’s Chairman, Kurt Kelsey (American Excelsior Company) says, “We recently expanded our reach to other technologies as well and we promote the use of erosion and sediment control products through industry leadership and education in the hope of making a substantial contribution to the science of erosion control and environmental preservation.”

Membership in the council is made up of people who are dedicated to advancing the knowledge, experience and expertise of erosion and sediment control. Jerry Kallam (Core & Main) said he joined the group because “ECTC represents the only professional group in our industry that promotes an agenda that is not proprietary. Our professional relationships create harmony and balance on important issues for the future leaders of our industry.”

ECTC provides many tools to help you successfully specify and install erosion and sediment control products. The Erosion Control Tool Box lists the most popular resources all in one convenient place, and can be found at https://www.erosioncouncil.org/erosion-toolbox/
