The Preditect System is used for reinforcement and monitoring applications such as piggyback landfills, sinkhole safety systems or mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls. It consists of a Geoter® high-modulus woven geotextile incorporating optical fibers that allow deformations to be measured in real time using dedicated software. The system also shares monitored data to personnel in real time. This technology enables the user to detect a potential failure early and initiate corrective measures to secure the structure. The Preditect System is used in civil construction applications where reinforcement needs to be monitored.
