FEB. 11–14 | LONG BEACH, CALIF.
The annual Environmental Connection conference and exhibition is Feb. 11–14 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The show features products and services specified by engineers who designate their use, contractors who buy and use products and services, and regulators who monitor the worksites. The conference and exhibition is organized by the International Erosion Control Association.

Waste360 hosts the once-every-two-years Global Waste Management Symposium at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa, Feb. 11–14. Topics will include leachate management, landfill gas/landfill management, landfill operations, coal combustion residuals and MSW landfills.
SME Annual Conference

The Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) Annual Conference returns to Minneapolis, featuring state-of-the-art production, innovation and development techniques for the iron ore and taconite industry. ADSC—The International Association of Foundation Drilling, DFI (Deep Foundations Institute), G-I (Geo-Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers) and PDCA (Pile Driving Contractors Association) have joined forces for the International Foundations Congress and Equipment Expo (IFCEE), March 5–10. The 2018 event will be held at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace.
APRIL 22–26 | WISCONSIN DELLS, WIS.
The National Association of Country Engineers (NACE) will hold its Annual Meeting/Management and Technical Conference at the Chula Vista Resort. County road officials manage more than 75% of U.S. highways and roads, and attendees rely on the NACE conference for information on the latest innovations in engineering technology, best practices, safety, management systems and software solutions.
APRIL 23–26 | LAS VEGAS, NEV.
WasteExpo, North America’s largest solid waste, recycling and organics industry event, will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event features more than 600 exhibitors and some 13,000 attendees will enjoy a conference program covering everything from anaerobic digestion to zero waste strategies.

APWA PWX and IFME

The American Public Works Association (APWA), in conjunction with the International Federation of Municipal Engineering (IFME), will host the joint APWA Public Works Expo (PWX) and IFME World Congress at the Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Center. The conference, designed for public works professionals at all levels, features traditional and interactive sessions, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities, as well as America’s largest exhibit floor for public works equipment and services.

11th International Conference

The 11th International Conference on Geosynthetics (11ICG) will be held at Coex in Seoul, South Korea, from Sept. 16 to 21, 2018. The Korean Geosynthetics Society (KGSS), the IGS Korea Chapter and host of the 11ICG, is expecting to attract more than 1,000 experts from more than 100 countries.
