Owens Corning to present webinar on geosynthetic leachate reduction

Owens Corning will host a free webinar “Geosynthetic Solutions for Waste Facility Leachate Reduction” on Oct. 11 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. CDT. The webinar will be taught by Andy Durham, senior geosynthetics engineer with Owens Corning.

Managing landfills and waste disposal sites is challenging, especially as environmental regulations seem to constantly change. Geosynthetic solutions, including geomembrane covers, can be used to meet regulations by providing short-term protection for slopes and soil areas, controlling odors and reducing leachate, and achieving long-term capping and closure requirements.
