The free Geosynthetics Conference archive includes proceedings from conferences dating back to the IFAI-sponsored Second International Conference on Geotextiles, Aug. 1–6, 1982, in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI), the Geosynthetics Materials Association (GMA) and Geosynthetics magazine launched the Geosynthetics Conference proceedings/video archive, making geosynthetics education and research widely available to the industry.

What’s available in the free Geosynthetics Conference archive?

The proceedings from all Geosynthetics Conferences (except for Geotechnical Frontiers events, which are obtainable for purchase from the American Society of Civil Engineers [ASCE]) are available going back to the IFAI-sponsored Second International Conference on Geotextiles, Aug. 1–6, 1982, in Las Vegas, Nev. (including the proceedings from GeoAmericas 2008 [March 2–5, 2008, in Cancún, Mexico] and the 6th International Conference on Geosynthetics [March 25–29, 1998, in Atlanta, Ga.]). More than 1,500 published technical papers are available to download and print. Dozens of videos of all keynotes, technical paper presentations, special sessions, roundtable discussions and product showcases from the Geosynthetics Virtual Conference 2021, which was held online Feb. 22–25, 2021, are also available in the archive.
