12 ICG postponed to September 2023

Events | April 12, 2021 | By:

Due to the continuing health and safety concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions to travel and large gatherings, the organizers of the 12th International Conference on Geosynthetics (12 ICG) in Rome, Italy, have made the difficult decision to postpone the 12 ICG, originally scheduled for Sept. 18–22, 2022. The new dates will be Sept. 17–21, 2023. The conference will still be held in Rome.

“This is not a decision we have taken lightly,” Nicola Moraci and Daniele Cazzuffi, conference co-chairs, said. “It is the one which we hope will ensure the operational integrity of the conference while protecting everyone’s well-being and, ultimately, ensuring the event is a healthy and inclusive one for everyone. We feel that we can be true to the ‘resiliency’ mentioned in the title of the conference.”
