Geosynthetics Conference 2021

Participate in the co-located program

Start making plans now to not only join us in Kansas City, Mo., Feb. 21–24, 2021, but to be a part of the program. Geosynthetics Conference 2021 features the second co-location with the International Erosion Control Association’s Annual Conference. The last time these two shows got together (Portland, Ore., in 2015), it was a smashing success. There were approximately 3,000 registrants between the two shows exploring the exhibit hall and engaging with technical education. 

Both events will honor registrations from either show, which means more educational options and many new faces in the audience.  

The co-location offers some new opportunities, including:

• Double the education and exhibitor offerings
• A chance for expanded networking during the combined Keynote Breakfast and Welcome Reception
• Joint off-site field tours
• Young Professionals Reception—the location is a secret for now but expect it to be fun and on target

Getting involved

Technical Program: We are looking for short course, workshop, training lecture, technical session and panel discussion proposals as well as abstract submissions for technical papers of all types. Authors, instructors and session chairs receive special pricing on registration. 

Exhibits and Sponsorships: Exhibit sales are currently open. Visit www.GeosyntheticsConference.com/exhibit to get a look at who has already reserved their spot and what options are available. All registrants from both shows will have access to the show floor. 

Student Opportunities: Students are invited to participate in the program either with a steeply discounted registration rate or as a volunteer, which allows for a complimentary registration. The volunteer positions are limited; contact bjconnett@ifai.com for more details.

Submissions

The Call for Proposals and Abstracts is open until May 1. Submissions must include a short abstract and title. All submissions are peer reviewed. Acceptance notices will be sent by June 1.
