The North American Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS-NA) held a technical and social session at the Geosynthetics Conference 2020: CASE STUDIES in North Charleston, S.C. The chapter would like to express our sincere gratitude to our volunteers that made this session happen: Boyd Ramsey of Boyd Ramsey Consulting, Professor Michael Pluimer of the University of Minnesota Duluth, and Chris Eichelberger of AGRU America. We also like to thank IFAI for providing the venue for this session and AGRU America for the hospitality. Last but not least, we would like to thank Barbara Connett who always does a wonderful job of organizing our industry events. The special session covered ethics in geosynthetics, geopipe, and recycled resin and geomembrane installation dos and don’ts. The IGS-NA board is looking forward to providing continued industry education, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event.
