Moscow location to concentrate on Eurasian business fields
The Huesker Group is expanding its geosynthetics business opportunities in Eurasia with the opening of a new subsidiary in Moscow, Russia, according to an Oct. 29 Huesker press release.
Germany-based Huesker said the Moscow operation—Huesker OOO—opened Oct. 1, with managing director Stanislav Khmelnitskiy saying: “Our aim is to continue the expansion of activities in the Eurasian Customs Union and to develop further business fields.”
In addition to geosynthetics, Huesker is active in the business areas of earthworks and foundations, roads and pavements, hydraulic and environmental engineering, and applications in industry and agriculture.
Khmelnitskiy, a native of Moscow, brings years of experience in the general management of technical textiles as well as mechanical engineering. The press release noted that the Moscow subsidiary, in addition to growth plans and the intensification of existing partnerships, creates storage capacities for more flexible customer response.
“A further focus will be placed in the field of technical service and design assistance,” Khmelnitskiy said.
In addition to subsidiaries in Great Britain, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, U.S., and Brazil, Huesker also works with trading and distribution partners as well as its own sales branches in more than 60 countries.
