Meeting announcements for June 27-29

ASTM Committee D35 on Geosynthetics and GMA focus groups

June 27–29, 2012, is the next semi-annual committee week for D35 on Geosynthetics and the Geosynthetic Materials Asssociation (GMA) will convene two of its focus groups that week also.

The meetings are at the host hotel, the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, Calif. ASTM meetings are open to all interested individuals.

For GMA members, the geotextile focus group will meet during the ASTM committee week at the Sheraton on Wednesday, June 27, 6-7 p.m. The agenda will include development of a planning process for updating M288 specifications. Members are asked to be prepared to offer comments and suggestions for revising M288. In addition, the GMA/NTPEP audit/printing program will be reviewed.

The GMA geogrid focus group will meet at the Sheraton on Wednesday, June 27, from 7-8 p.m. Discussion will continue regarding the table of values for each type of geogrid.
