News | September 6, 2011 | By:

Geosynthetics 2013—the next biennial geosynthetics conference organized by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI)—is set for April 1-4, 2013, in Long Beach, Calif.

IFAI’s record of geosynthetics conferences dates to the 1990s, with the most-recent event the record-setting Geo-Frontiers in Dallas last March.

Geosynthetics 2013 conference sessions and trade show will be focused in the Long Beach Convention Center.

Co-locating with the Geosynthetics 2013 conference is the annual Southwest Geotechnical Engineers Conference, which is sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and state transportation departments from the southern and western U.S.

Geosynthetics 2013 will feature an exhibit hall trade show, daily keynote speakers, an array of technical sessions and industry short courses offering professional development hours, plus social and networking events, and tours.

The Geosynthetic Research Institute’s (GRI) conference, GRI–25, will be incorporated as two half-day sessions during Geosynthetics 2013.
