I am writing a quick note to say that I enjoyed Dov Leshchinsky’s article in the August/September issue of Geosynthetics. I think it is quite clear and demonstrative. I have my students reading it for my “Ground Improvement and Geosynthetics” course this fall.

Very good article on LRFD vs. ASD in Geosynthetics (Vol. 24, No. 4). I’ve always been of the, “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” school but, alas, AASHTO is always right, eh?
