Ron: Andrew, did you see the news about Flora’s connection with the Chinese Technical Association for Geosynthetics (CTAG) as a Supporting Organization for IFAI Expo Asia 2011?
(Flora Xu is IFAI’s China Representative.)
Andrew: Yes. Flora reported to us that CTAG is joining the group of Expo Asia Supporting Organizations and, in addition, bringing a delegation of at least 30 people to the event.
In addition, the topic of geosynthetics applications is going to be one of the session themes at Expo Asia next March. Prof. Li Guangxin of the Chinese geosynthetics association is on the Expo Asia organizing committee and he is the moderator for the session, “Geosynthetic Applications for Infrastructure and the Environment.”
IFAI Expo Asia is attracting the attention of geosynthetics exhibitors and specifiers from all over Asia regions including India, China, Korea, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Ron: I’d suggest looking into your travel plans for 2011 now. IFAI Expo Asia 2011 is March 22-25 in Singapore. For more information: www.ifaiexpoasia.com.
