Goers is new VP–sales at Propex Geotextile Systems

Chattanooga-based Propex announced in a Nov. 29 press release the appointment of John W. Goers as vice president–sales for its Geotextile Systems Division.

Goers comes to Propex from Firestone, where he most recently was general manager of Firestone’s Specialty Products business, which manufactures geomembranes for retail, residential, industrial, commercial, civil, and environmental industries, according to the press release.

“We are thrilled to have John join our team,” said Ralph Bruno, Propex executive VP–Global Sales and Marketing. “As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in these markets, John will help us continue to extend our leadership position and expand long-term opportunities.”
